LOGLINE

RHSL Reconstructs The Rehearsal Process Of Artists And Focuses On Their Personal And Creative Challenges, Culminating In A Live Version Of Their Work.

The pilot episode of RHRSL was created with artist Suilju and clearly shows what the series stands for. His personal challenge—asma—is not something that holds him back, but rather becomes part of his music. In a specially designed rehearsal space, the camera follows his process, from doubt to creation.

We combine interviews, raw rehearsal moments, and a live performance as a finale. It’s not a polished show, but an honest portrait of the journey to a track. The pilot demonstrates how personal themes, such as health, can become a source of creative power.

The motivation for RHRSL grew out of an ongoing dialogue between Joardy Tummers and Rychto Lawalata, who shared a fascination for the overlooked artistry within rehearsal. In those tentative moments—where ideas are tested, reshaped, or even abandoned—the essence of creativity quietly reveals itself.

To bring this vision into a cinematic form, we invited Robin Kikic to direct. His ability to balance surreal imagery with a sense of authenticity shaped RHRSL into a space where preparation and performance coexist in one fluid narrative.
